I'm getting ready to change the wheels and add the IDS Iinherited. Does Harley not make a chrome cover to put over this nasty looking thing. I can't find one anywhere and I would hate to go to all the work to change it over and then find they had one.
Just seems odd harley would miss a chance to make another buck.

That there would surprise me too.
I'd like to see a chrome or gloss black cover for it too, but maybe it being a floating pully, that there is too much vibration to install a cover "over" it. How about thinking about some black gloss rattle can? Or looking into getting it powdercoated before you install?
I have considered prior to installing it on my 07 UC to chrome it. I do not know if this will cause any sort of imbalance or problem overall with it. I have talked to my chromer who has done several aluminum pieces for me and he does not see an issue other than the bearing press fit? Any one else consider it?
