Passengers
I rode cross country to the Grand Canyon with my 19 year old son as passenger and it never entered my mind about what other people might be thinking. All they saw was two guys on a bike, they didn't know he was my son; but what do I care about what other people think. We even shared motel rooms for two weeks. Before we left, my wife said "you'll see some amazing sights" my response was "yeah, your father in his underwear." By the way, I actually met a guy who's last name was Knoph and his parents named him John, he went by Jack.
I had to get a tire replaced on a road trip last year in a small town in Northeastern Utah. While we were waiting I rode on the back of my buddy's Goldwing to get breakfast at a nearby cafe. The look on the locals' faces were priceless when we pulled up. My buddywas joking that we needed somepink cowboy hats to complete the picture. As itturned out, later in the trip I saw one at a shop in Yellowstone and bought it for him. We still laugh about it. Takehim for a ride. Who cares what anyone else thinks about it.
