My friend Jack wants me to give him a ride on my new Harley when spring rolls around. We ben friends since we were 10 years old. He can't afford a Harley and I can so this is the only way he wood ever ghet a ride on a Harley.
I realy dont see alllot of guys riding guys around. Would it be ok to take cruizin on the back of my Harley?
Why not, if he has been your bud for that long go for it. Do you really care what others think. Take him for a ride and it may motivate him to get a bike even it isn't a Harley, then he can ride with you!!
Since when do Harley riders give two sh*ts what other people think? If he's been your bud since you were 10 and he can't afford a bike of his own, grant him his dream ride and make it a life-changing experience for him. It should make you realize just how fortunate we are as bikers and how some people will never get the enjoyment we do from being out there. Just don't wear too much leatheror anything pink...and make sure he doesn't wrap his arms around your waist to hold on!

Thanks dudes for your input!!
I am guessing Jack doesn't ride or havehis own Motorcycle. Otherwise you could just let him take it for a spin. You are right, in that you don't see this very often. The worst that can happen is that some friends give you both a hard time about it. I am sure your friends have given you a hard time about other issues before.
As long as Jack doesn't show up in leather and chains, asking you to take him to bike night somewhere you should be cool.
Sure, why not. Almost all of us were probably on the back of a bike at one time in our lives. A few of us, not too long ago in fact;[sm=Flahssssss.gif]
Yes, that's me on the back of my buddies bike. He ran out of fuel, we were in a truck hauling my bike and we stopped. Other friend went ahead in the truck to get fuel and I said I'd stay and keep Jim company. Some other biker came by and had a siphon and got Jim going. Hop on
Absolutely, giving a good friend the experience is way more important than what anyone else might think. Just make sure he knows how to be a good passenger....don't move around alot, and don't "help" you lean the bike, or counter your effort to lean it. As other have said, it might plant a dream in his mind, even if it isn't a harley.
