Default 1st timer with Question

Long time reader, first time poster. Picked up a used 07 streetglide in Nov., with the minor mods coming the day I picked it up. Currently have V&H big Shot Duels, PCIII, Kury air cleaner. No stranger to motorcyles, just new to Harley. Now on to the question. I purchasedsome 08 brembo calipers and rotors for the front. I have stainless steel brake lines and will be ordering the Lyndel pads. I was reading that some have also changed the master cylinder. Is it an absolutemust to change the master cylinder?

Somego for a Performance Machine billet master cylinder for the bling factor, but I don't believe it offersany functional advantages.

Bling is not a factor for me. I am not addicted to chrome, in fact I have been taking as much off as I can. Of course, that is what attracted me to the streetglide, is its monotone scheme(I have denim pewter)right from the factory. I am a machinist, so I pride myself in making a lot of the things that most people have to buy.
Thanks to all who replied, brakes will be on by this weekend, too bad its cold and snowy out.
