Default Myrtle beach Question.

I would like to attend MB Bike week but due to work commitments my time is limited. I think I can get there for the first weekend, leaving Monday or Tuesday. Question is will I be missing most of the action? I'm assuming the last weekend may be better?
A response from those who have attended in the past would be appreciated.
thanks

Yeah the last weekend is better. Most of the large vendors start setting up Wednesday, If you are going for the parts vendors that is. The party really gets kickin around Thursday. Thats just my observations though...

Went last 2 years seems most people arrive around Wednesday and stay through weekend. With that being said it is alot easier getting around early in the week. Still plenty of venders, all basicly have same stuff anyways, and still plenty of places to go and party and you won't have to wait as long for beers.

You'll have a good time. It's turned into a 9=day event. Vendors are pulling out fast by the last Sunday. All the good stuff is in full swing except the demo rides.

There's a lot to do there so going early is a good thing, you can get more riding in before the crowd gets there. You'll have a good time.

Go to google and type in "myrtle beach bike week". And yes, the second half of the week is better if you like the crowds. Demo rides will be up at Broadway at the Beach again this year. There are several different areas forvendors. You will find stuff in and around Murrells Inlet, and up at Broadway. Sometimes on up at Barefoot Landing in Little River. Dates for the spring rally are May 9th through May 18th.

this is the one we always use... http://www.myrtlebeachbikeweek.com/

we get a condo in north myrtle, not as crowded, but takes forever to get to where most of the action is. as others have said, its the busiest from wednesday through sunday afternoon. Our condo is from sat to sat, so we always miss the last two days.

it doesnt seem to be as rowdy as it once was, but generally the riding is great.

just my .02
