I have gone early, mid week and final weekend. It is all great. If there is something specific you want to see or do check the schedule on the MB website and work around it. I use a condo in North Myrtle Beach which allows me to get away from it when I have had enough. Hope you enjoy your trip.

I'll be there just for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday then we are heading to the mountains. It's fun no matter when you get there during the week. I prefer to hit it before the crowds anyway.

I have done it a few times. The beginning of the week isn't usually as crowded, but you can sometimes get good deals closer to the end of the week. Vendors don't want to have to cart it back with them.

i've never been during the 1st weekend myself, but we may do a day trip that saturday. as everyone else has said the crowd will arrive on wed / thurs. anyways you'll enjoy it.
