Not trying to sound stupid here....but what's so bad with a fender made of plastic? Only reason that I ask is that I've been in injection molding for over 20 years now....and plastic composites have advanced each and every year.

I do appreciate the input. I will agree the Composite fender is less expensive. Our fender is more expensive. We do feel we offer a superior product. We pride ourselves in having the best quality steel fenders in the industry. Yes, that is a bold statement, but we believe it to be true. As I also replied to your PM. If the composite fender is dentproof ours is damn near bullet proof. Of course that is an exaggeration. But the force of a blow that would dent our fenders would destroy a composite or fiberglass fender.

Also in all hydraulic front ends the fender adds stability to the front end and they force both fork legs to travel evenly and at the same rate. Which is key to a stable front end.A quality steel fender acts like a fork brace. You will notice most motorcycles running without a front fender will have a fork brace for the above reasons. The strength and rigidity our our 14 gauge steel fenders far surpass the composite style fenders.

I do not argue your point in cost, but in our book quality and function comes first.

I'll stand behind the quality and integrity of our fenders all day long.

Thank You for your input, life is full of options.

BigJoe
