I loved my old LowRider, and I had put over six grand into it, not counting the custom paint. Wife made me get 07 RKCustom, boy she makes me look smart.

Getting rid of my Night Train was the best thing I have done! I LOVE the Street Glide!!!
Welcome to the club! Did anyone teach you the secret handshake???
I did the EXACT same thing. Had a beautiful Night Train with the best custom flame paint I've ever seen but sold it to a good friend of mine and bought my SG-- I'll never go back. The only time I really miss my Night Train is when I see people gathering around it, admiring it. It really is a beauty and my buddy has done some great things with it. Still, I know he's much more wore out at the end of a long ride than I am and my bike still turns its share of heads.
Was out of riding for a few years (part of the 80's).
Didn't keep up with the different styles and models
a scoot was just a scoot.
Friend took me bar hopping (between towns) on his
84 Gw in the early 90's.
Loved the comfort of leaning back as a passenger, the radio
and the windshield. In Wyoming winters a windshield is a nice
luxury!
But finances were tight back then.
Found a good used voyager the credit union would finance.
Kept a couple years, then found a 98 RG limited edition anniversary
they would finance, so moved up.
Another EG andRKP, and now a EG haven't looked back.
As I've gotton older have really appreciated my comforts.
