I installed them on my Metric last year. I felt the convex portion did not offer the blind spot view that I thouightit would. If the convex mirror would have been tilited out a bit it wouldprovided a better blind spot view.
Well, you just need to try them. I kept them on about a week and found they were too small and did not get the right angles.... The split thing never worked for me, maybe they will for you. My dealer took them back as long as there were no marks and in the original packing. I bought a more expensive set from him... maybe that helped too
I am too much of a cheapskate to buy them however my Dad put them on his bike and after getting used to them now likes them better than stock. I opted to put micro convex stick on ones on my stock mirrors for 4 dollars. On one of my old bikes the mirror broke and I stuck a large round one on for a temporary fix until i got home and liked it enough to kep it on for quite a while on that Ratbike !!
Bought them, took them off after a week, sold them on EBAY for more than I payed for them. Bottom line they sucked! I did not like stock, but then in turn purchased the billet Twin Cam 88 style mirrors #91513-99. Love them!
Ronjo...
Put them on my RK Custom, but they did not work. My bike is too low (stock) and the mirrors do not adjust up enough, so all I could see were the top of the saddle bags.
The dealer did not believe me until they tried to adjust with no luck. I went back to stock mirrors.
