I decided on the werks bars for my 05 ultra..it says you need to replace cluth cable,no problem...my question is ?...do you need to replace throttle& idler cable,brake cable & do you need new gasket for the trans cover....& is hard to replace them or is it better to hace dealer replace them,,,dealer quoted 263.00 for replacing bars & clutch cable...thanks all

Were it me, I would replace clutch cable and throttle/idle cables. No need to replace the brake, a slight bending of the cable makes it fit fine. I originally didn't replace my throttle cables, but I didn't like it sticking as it did so I ended up replacing them.
Clutch=38649-98
Throttle=38650-98
Idle=56730-03
Yes you will need a new trans side cover gasket as well as exhaust gaskets because you should drop the exhaust to make it easier. If you do it yourself, park the scoot's wheels up on 2x4s and lean it way over onto the jiffy stand. That way all the tranny fluid will stay on the left side and you won't spill but a drop. That way you won't have to drain the tranny fluid.
