I'm looking to get me a subscription or two to a motorcycle magazine, but I don't want to waste my time or money on ads and b.s. so if ya know of some worthwhile magazines please pass on the info. thanks
I have a subscription with American Iron but I think when it expires I'm not going to renew. It's a goodone butI find it has too many custom motorcyclesand engine hop-upswhich I have no interest at all, but that's just me. If I see a magazine morespecific to baggers which reflects more on what I'm interested in thenmaybe I'llcheck it out but in my area I haven't seen anything yet that really appeals.
How about a subscription to HD Forums??
Lots of good reading, lots of good tech tips, awesome pics of bikes built by real people, and always the humor ofinteresting people making stupid mistakes.
Did I mention it is updated by the minute, and the subscription fee is FREE?
just a thought
I'll second that.
There isnt a magazine out there as good as this place
I currently get 3. American Bagger, Hot Bike Bagger, and Hot Bike. I've been getting Hot Bike for 8 years and I'm probably not going to renew. It's the same old stuff. Hot Bike Bagger is ok. The only reason I got a subscription is because that other mag folded. Can't remember the name, it used to be Hot Rod Bikes.
None of them are as good as American Bagger. This is by far my favorite.
I also regularly pick the The Horse. It's very entertaining to read and is full of bikes built by regular guys. They're not all my style, but I really appreciate the work that goes into them, and every now and again get an idea for my bike.
