Metzer or Dunlop?...deciding between M880 or D402...i do alot a highway riding here in Florida and i want the tire to last, plus the raods get real hot in the summer
I'm sure this will start a firestorm of comments but
the Dunflops are a harder compound and would last
longer in the heat I would say. The Metzers would handle
better in the wet.
i get 14-15k out of my rear dunlops
do a search and you will see alot of people complain about the metz for miles
i have 49k on my ultra and still use dunlops
just my 2cents
i've done the searching and yeah i know most like the Metz's...i'm sure i'll hit some rain in "sunny" florida, but like i said i'm mostly highway at 75-80 mph and the rest of the roads down here are in pretty good shape...i have a Metz on the rear now but i think i'm leaning more towards the Lop's
I've gone thru 2 sets of Dunlop's..decided to try out the metz's........metz's are good I suppose if ya ride like ya got a sport bike.......I'm seriously going to have to do a major burn out then return back to dunlops.......
Like metz beter and with my *** on the throttle non last real long time. But the dunlopsprobly better for sincable rider.Id say metz are for those of us who ride our old fart bikes like they are Vrods.
