I'm in the market for a new SOLO seat for my 06 RK classic. I've been looking at the Corbin pretty hard, but the LePera BareBones solo has some nice lines and better price. I know there are lots of people who love the corbin and will say get the corbin, I'm looking for some people who own the LePera BareBones and their opinion? Do you like the LePera seat? Did you get the biker gel? Thanks!
I am having a problem with my Corbin hollywood solo seat it was shipped with missing bracket and rubber stops came off. It took 9 weeks to get the seat, I returned itFeb 21 and just sent a inquiry about it today.
Corbin makes a nice seat but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired

ya for $300 bucks you think they would be a little more responsive. I was looking at those Hollywood Solo's for $299. I see there are some brackets that you use to mount the seat. Is it a hassle to throw on the stock harly 2 seater then?
Still looking for some feedback on people who own LePera.
From what I've read lately, Corbin seems to be slipping, particularly in the service area.I was looking at for a LePera solo for my 08 SG, but they makeone yet. Then I was turned on to C&C seats, is a sponsor on these forums and offersforum membersa discount.EvilDaveis the contact. Anyhow,I ordered theleather C&C solo with flame stitching. It should be here soon. I'll let you know how it works outafter it arrives.
I've owned a La pera for eight years. Real comfortable and great detail. It still looks new.
The people at the company are very helpful. I've had them send me color samples of thread,
and studs on a few occasions. No passenger complaints, of course, most of my passengers
are built for speed.
