Default Clutch Replacement

I have been riding my 07 Streetglide since June of 2007. Have close to 12K miles on already.

Any ideas on when to replace the clutch?

And is there any particular brand to get?

Unless you are some kind of crazy rider, you will probably never need to replace the clutch. At least not in the first 100,000 miles. Keep it adjusted properly and don't worry about it.

I'm approaching 73,000 miles, original clutch, etc... Still going strong but in my case alot of freeway mileage, so probably varies depending onriding habitsand type of roads, etc.

You will know when it is time if you keep the bike that long.

Changed mine at 60,000 miles just because I thought it was time, measured the old and new and compared, old ones had about 4 thou of an inch wear on each plate, should of left it alone and saved the time and money.

If you want a better clutch go for the Barnett if you are looking for stock feel. Dont change it until it starts to fail. You will first notice it in 1 to 2nd shifts if you ride hard or if you take it a little easyyou will notice in 4 to 5th shifts at speed. Motor will sound like a centrifigual clutch coming in slowly bring rpms back down where they belong.
