Could be the 8 degree versus the 25 degree injectors. Do you know what ones you have? Mine did the same even with the 25 degree injectors. Added a fuel management system and cleared all propblems.

Depends on who you ask if it's normal or not.
Dealer, you'll probably get it's normal
Most people here will say no it's not.
Was it popping before you put it in storage, or can you remember back that far.
How long was it in storage?
If it was not then it is something you did since then.
Possibly got bad gas or it is the stabil or whatever you may have used to fog the
engine.
I would pull the plugs, wipe dry and clean, confirm correct gap and correct plugs.
If you believe you may have moisture in gas, add the correct amount of HEET for
a five gallon tank, slosh it around, let it set a few minutes then start it up.
Run it a little bit and give the HEET a chance to absorb and dissipate the moisture
in the fuel system.
When down to about 1/2 refuel with 91 octane from station you trust and add the
proper amount of fuel injector cleaner for a 5 gallon tank then run it awhile.
See if that clears it up.

i had it in storage for 5 months with fuel stabilizer in the tank. tank was 3/4 full when i got it out of storage the exhaust would stink really burn your eyes i ran that down to half tank then refilled with 92 octane at speedway ran 70 miles then it just stalled on me never done that before maybe i should suck out 80 to 90 percent of the gas and get new gas at a different station i just really find it odd especially on a bike that has been dynoed....
I would suggest you clean the idle air induction port. Take the air cleaner off and look in the intake at the 12 o'clock position. There is a port there that has a plunger that opens and closes, to control idle. With engine off,Spray with carb. cleaner,Then turnswitch on and off slowly. You will see the plunger move. Mine had a bad habit of sticking till got about 15,000 miles on it.

Not likely, but have any good mechanic do a compression leakdown test.
If gaskets are indeed defective and leaking, it will show up with this test.
But it could also be rings or valves/ guides.
