Default Tank Emblem

Does anyone have any pictures of a late model tourer wearing a 1961-1962 'shooting star' tank emblem. I kinda like the look but wondered what it would look like on a modern black road king.

Not yet, as I'm still transforming my 98 RK from Sinister Blue to Black. Changed the bag all all tins. Next & last step for me, will be my new gas tank. I have this same 1962 Panhead emblem on the new tank & can't wait to be finished. Hopefully, I'll be posting pictures of the Finished bike, in the next week or two.

Ok, I got them in the post this morning.

They seem easy enough but any pointers or pitfalls to fitting em. They have the 3m adhesive on the plates already, was this strong enough or did you use your own alternative.

I was going to use masking tape as a guide to where they are to be mounted.

That 3M will work just fine. Use masking tape, it will help.
