Default Russell seat for my 105th annv

I just got my bike back from Russell Day Long Saddles. I had a custom made touring saddle built. I wanted it to have the copper color panel in the middle of the seat like the stock one, but I could not find an exact match, so I picked something a little different. The color is called Hammered Copper. It is a much brighter color copper than the stock seat and it has a hammered texture to it. I am very pleased with the way it turned out. The color is almost an exact match to the paint color on the tins.

Here it is from overhead:

Another overhead shot that includes the rear seat:

As you may or may not know, Russell seats are custom made to fit. They are not mass produced, one size fits all, the seat is made exactly to your bum.

Mike, great looking seat! Looks much better than stock and twice as comfortable. Wouldn't mind having one on my new one.

Hey, that looks really good!
A Russell Day Long is for sure my next saddle. They're not the sexiest looking (ok, not by a mile!) but I've yet to read a bad review of one.
How long was the wait?

<<How long was the wait? >>

Because I live only 50 miles away, I walked in mid week and set up an appointment for the following week. I set up for wha they call a garage appointment, where I leave it with them on a Monday, test fit on Wednesday and pick it up on Friday.
I also had them install heat for both the front and back. The wife says the heat works great.
