3 years ago an acquaintance was killed at a busy intersection here in Knoxville, TN.
Merchant Drive & Clinton Highway
He was rear-ended by a cager,knocked into oncoming traffic, run over multiple times.
This past Thursday night after a local bike night, ANOTHER acquaintance was rear-ended at the same intersection. This guy is currently on life support. His daughter is awaiting the arrival of his Mom from Hawaii (where he's from) before they disconnect the life support.
No chance of survival as his brain stem was severed.
Wow, I will put them in my prayers for sure... tragic. And though it won't bring him back, I hope the cager has to pay in every way,,, (guilt especially),,, All because of inattentive driving for what ever reason, cell phone, talking to someone in the car, ect....
