If the part number ends in 07....that was the first year it was available

 

Kinda makes sense. The original owner blew the engine in 07, got tired of waiting and traded it for an 08 when they hit the floor. He had built the engine with Screaming Eagle parts. Bet he had a Screaming Eagle exhaust on it that he kept. Didn't have the originals and the shop put 07 stock exhaust back on when they got the new (rebuilt) engine in. I'd bet that's the way it went.
Tried the Harley site but it won't give me the 2007's in accessories or bikes tonight.

The HD 2007 sight started working. They aren't listed or
pictured on the E-Glide, Classic or Ultra, but the 2007 Road
Glide, there's the picture of them or at least they are the
Slash Up cut and look just like mine.
Some of the pieces of the puzzle are coming together now.
