Does anybody know what it would cost to replace road king leather saddle bags to hard case bags

 

If you look on Ebay, there are quite a few on there. If you want HD factory bags painted to match (yikes) I couldn't even begin to guess what that would cost. I bought my hard bags off of Ebay and painted them to match. Not the answer you are looking for, but that's all I have.........

 

If you are patient, you usually find more stuff on eBay in the winter when people are making changes. There is occasionally a new set from a company that makes trikes. Black is the most common color I think.

 

I just ordered a set from Harley yesterday. $567.87 a side plus $33.75 for a lock set. I have watched E-Bay for a while but never saw my color for sale. (Luxury Blue). They usually go for about 5 to 8 hundred.I live in So.Cal. and talked to a local painter at an Auto body shop and he guesstimated $500.00 for both bags.

For a few hundred more, I just bought new.

i just cahnged over also.i got two seperate bags one left one right from different sellers for a total of 286 shipped then 350 to paint all custom to match my bike way cheeper than dealer just takes a little time.

 

Just keep in mind too that you can get 200.00-350.00 for your old leahter bags if they are in nice shape. This'll help offset the new costs.

 

seen them go for $600-$700 on ebay used. took me forever to find em but if you have time and just keep watching..

 

call some local bike shops and see if they have anytake offs or also jump on craigslist.com
