Default Made the Switch!
I have had an 03 VROD for the past 5 years and after too many rentals of the RK I finally bit the bullet and made the switch. Went all Black - RK Classic. What a different world. I liked the VROD but the Classic was calling....

Quick Question, didn't check before I left the dealer - The cruise control won't turn on? They said they will obviously take care of it, but any ideas?

I am sure I will have more questions, so thanks in advance.

PS, can't wait to find out if Black truly is the fastest color!

welcome to the wonderful world of touring bikes. I rode a v-rod at demo days and it reminded me of a faster sportster. It was fun but was glad to get back on a touring bike. Enjoy the new ride and ride safe.

Don't know about the RK, but the EG has a switch that must be in the on position for the cruise to work. Maybe you missed it? Maybe not? Worth a shot.

Thanks. The problem is the On / Off switch. When I move it to on it doesn't turn on (indicator light).

I mad the switch from a V-Rod to a Street Glide this year. There will be things you will miss about the Rod but mostly you will wonder how you ever rode so long without a comfortable bike!
