I put a SE AC, a SERT,and Rhinehart trueduals on my RKC. I finally got to ride it about 100 miles yesterday to see if it made an appreciable difference and noted the following:
1) The sound is perfect.
2) Low end torque is pretty good.
3) Midrange torque is fair, but not what I want/need.
Here are my questions:
1) Can you "dial in" the torque range using the SERT?
2) What can I do to improve the midrange torque?
3) Can I do it with bigger cams?
4) Do I need to add the 103 and cams?
I ride a lot of secondary roads and really need the zip to pass when the opportunity presents itself. When riding on the interstate I normally cruise around 75 so top end speed is not really an issue, nor is low end torque.
I don't mind spending the money, just want to make sure it's best spent.

1) Can you "dial in" the torque range using the SERT?
You can dial it in to the extent possible with the hardware you have installed. True-duals will hurt low-end and probably midrange as well, so you're a bit handicapped from the start. If you want performance go with a 2-into-1 system or Fuel Moto's custom Rush setup using stock head pipes. Alas, these are not ideal options since you've already purchased the Rinehart TD's at great cost.
2) What can I do to improve the midrange torque?
Did you perform a dyno tune?
3) Can I do it with bigger cams?
With a very mild cam, yes--but the stock TC96 is capable of producing excellent low-end and mid-range performance with the right hardware and EFI configuration.
Did you have it dyno tuned? Tell your tuner what you want and he should be able to tune for it.
If your using one of the canned maps, they don'thave one for true duals. You pretty much have to have ittuned on a dyno.
Make sure they guy tuning it knows what he's doing. I had issues with the dealer tune on my bike. I could tell it wasn't right. Took it to an independent and hegave me incredible gains in both HP & torque just by tuning it better.
Your set up and a good tune should fix you up. A 2-1 of any brand should have nice mid range muscle from a stock 96 and a ghost pipe is a cure for those 2-1 haters. [:@]Choice is yours!
My thanks to you all for the advice and suggestions. Alas, so much $ and so little to show. I suppose I'll either have to live with it or go to the 103. And, I did have it dyno'd, perhaps he either didn't know what he was doing or thought I wanted all low end so that I could do wheelies on my bagger.
