Default Python Exhaust Owners...

I just got done installing a set of Python True Duals and Python Pipes. While adjusting both pipes to make sure they were pointed up and down the same, I noticed that the pipe on the right-hand side of the bike is not perfectly round. It has a flat spot on the bottom. Is anyone else's pipe like this? The other pipe is perfect. Should I have it swapped out? I am not sure if it would prevent me from removing the baffle.

Thanks,

Frank

looks like they may have overtighten the baffle screw. you might have a problem removing it as the baffles fit fairly snug on mine. i would send them back for an exchange.

Ok, now I am pissed with Drag Specialties. These pipes are BRAND-NEW. The motorcycle hasn't even been started with them on the motorcycle. I think you can tell that they are brand-new from the photos. I noticed the problem when I was installing them and lining them up before tightening the muffler clamps. They will not exhange this one pipe because they have been installed on the motorcycle. Eastern Performance Cycle also won't do anything for me.

One of the reasons I bought these were because of the removable baffles. What happens if this prevents me from getting the baffle out? Eastern Performance Cycle told me that they still won't exchange it.

P.S. I also had a problem with the Python True-Duals that I purchased. The front header pipe didn't have any threads where the O-2 sensor screws in.

Thanks,

Frank

Did you pay cash, or use a credit card? If you used a card, try getting some help through your card company. I keep a credit card just for internet purchases & companies I'm not sure of. If I have problems with the vendor I call the card company for help. If both fail to help me I simply won't pay the bill.

The items were listed on Eastern Performance Cycle's eBay store so, I paid using PayPal. I wonder if PayPal will do anything for me?
