Got an email from the local dealership today stating that HD has or is increasing the price of all parts, oil, tries, batteries, you name it. They said not go into shock and not to blame the dealership for the prices. Has anyone else heard anything from their local dealer. Maybe since sales are down they are going to make even more money on the other end.
Probably as a result of diesel going up and up and the cost of transporting the items getting higher. Someone's got to pay and those who buy the bikes do....just my thoughts.
Went in to pick up a couple items that happened to be out of stock. They ordered em for me but charged a shipping fee, first time that happened. Said it's because UPS has increased their rates.
Looks like it is starting to hit all of us one way or another besides the obvious outrageous price of gas. I know this is hard to say here, but I have my bike pretty well the way I want it. Now if I found a good deal on something, I might get it, but it is maintenance mode now. If it isn't broken or needs replaced, it isn't going to happen. I think you are going to see a lot more of this, and the economy will to hell in a handbasket.
