Lemon Pledge here also. Used it on my boatsfor years. It is easy and will really make fiberglass shine. Just don't step on the boat fiberglass in your sock feet. You will bust your a$$.

Mack,

I've used it for six years, all over my bikes with no problems. Pledge works well on windshields because it fills in small scratches and blemishes. My Yamaha Roadstar had a transmission recall - the service dept used it to clean up the bike afterward.

well i have ta say that im pretty much sold on the windex. i tried the peroxide over the last week and will use it as a prewash on the bugs . ive used the pledge over the last year or two and it was ok "but"......... the widex really has a good "soak" factor, cleans well, over spray wipes off easily and i see no down side to it.

I have found that using any type of spray on wax works great. I am currently using Black Magic Express. I can spray it onto a windshield full of bugs, wait 1 minute and with light wiping the windshield comes clean. No soaking, No peroxide. The neat thing is that you can use the spray wax on the rest of your bike, especially the paint. Works great, even on chrome.[sm=smiley20.gif]

But to answer your question, you should avoid using any chemicals that will dry out the plexi, ie,, alcohol.

To answer your question directly, yes, ammonia-free glass cleaners are safe to use with Lexan. I've been doing it for years.
