I just read that Klockworks (www.kustombaggers.com)now produces their uniquely curved windscreens for the all batwing models and not just the Road Glide as per the WFB. Has anyone tried on on say a street glide or an e glide yet? From their write up it appears the screen is just 5 1/2 inches high but performs like a higher standard screen.
I have an HD 6 inch relacement screen on my 2007 FLHX and would like to keep a lower screen for appearance but would like better performance than the 6 inch screen I have provides.
I think it's a pretty cool design....I'm running a clearview recurve and love it, but there's something about the Klockworks design that's calling me....it's pretty expensive to experiment with
At 6 1/2", I'm skeptical that it will deflect wind as well as my 9 1/2" Clearview recurve....comments from any users?
I have the 6.5" flare from Klock Werks. It's an awesome shield and works better than I would have imagined. There's four of us that bought them and we all like 'em. Cuts the air and is great even at high speed. Their service was great and you can call Klock Werks and ask them to check their stock before ordering so there's no surprises. I know Drag Specialties had ordered 800 of them and tried to get another 800 right away so stock might be an issue. Best to call them direct and ask. Info is on their site.
wwwwaaaaaay to expensive for what you get. no way would I pay 165.00 for a little windshield, but some will come in and justify their wasted money i;m sure. just get the cee baily's windshield for half the cost, great customer service and product.
