Hey folks. I ride an '07 Road Glide, basically stock save for centerstand and quick detach backrest. My problem is the passenger backrest is too upright, which pushesmy wifeforward, and me too, making for a less than comfortable ride. I contacted HD after checking into what I could do as far as repositioning the quick detach hardware, and informed them of this problem. HD makes no adjustable backrests for my model. I looked at Mustang'srecessed backrest pad, but it will not fit with detachables. Any ideas, or anyone experienced the same problems? Plus, does anyone know wher I could get a "RoadGlide" vest pin? I have seen almost all other models, but not the RG. Thanks.

 

I've noticed the same problem with the backrest on my '08 Standard. I have thought about doing some "custom" bending on it, but don't want to mess the chrome up. Still, I might try and if I mess it all up, I could always buy a new one.
