I just completed a western states swing with a couple of my buddies...It was as great as we had hoped for! We left Memphis, TN. on Saturday morning and made it through Arkansas and almost through Oklahoma on our first day ( Elk City ). The second day we made it through the pan handle of Texas to Farmington, New Mexico. From there to the famed 4 corners, then through Utah and down to Flagstaff, AZ. We rode through the Grand Canyon and other sites landing in Sedona, AZ. Then we rode through the greenbelt ( Altitude , enough desert heat )
through Payson and Show Low, AZ landed fro the night in Alpine, AZ...it snowed, sleeted and rained on us...we rode on through several days of dust storms and high winds...Coming to Las Cruzas, Alamogordo, NM. Then from there to Roswell and Carlsbad, NM. And then we booked across Texas ( Hwy 180 ) a great non traffic route to Longview,TX. From there through Louisiana and up through Mississippi to home! Wow, a great trip ( 3900 miles ). I hope all can do adventures such as this...We're already planning next years big trip as we speak. We try a trip of distance every year....Well Milwaukee is coming in a few months ( 105th Harley bash ).
Now if you really want a sweet ride head up here to Montana. We'll go to Idaho, Wyoming, and probably slip over the border to British Columbia. Missoula HD has a great rental program as well as a fly and ride, or you can ride up here and back. Oh, and if you want to stay at OurPlace, PM me or just drop me a line. Good Luck, CCRyder bigskyhd@hotmail.com ourplace02@gmail.com

What was your schedule like? How many days were you gone, or are you talking "last Saturday" to "today"? Wow! Did you do any camping or was it Motel staying? You were right our here by me in Phx.
