You can buy a variety of good to super excellent speakers. I haven't tried any of the Usual suspects(hogtunes/hogwired) as it seems to be a bit overpriced.
I would get a set of 2 ohm speakers as you will get greater output out of the same amount of power compared to a 4 ohm speaker though - Just make sure they are safe for your head unit.
I have 2 ohm Infinity Kappasup front and they are great, if a little bright.
In the back I have some cheap(ish) Kenwoods and they have much more midrange and bass push.
I would go to a good stereo shop and look at some options.
MQ Quart -- can't be beat a little pricey -- best overall unlimited power handling capabilities
Rockford Fosgate --- nice highs a little lacking in the mid range --excellent
Hogtunes -- slightly better than stock, to much $$$ for what is delivered -- excellent customer service
Infinity-- an excellent speaker with excellent highs and mids
none of these speakers will produce any type of bass --- just won't happen with 5 1/4 speakers
