Default Warning Lables

I have my 08 Rk for about a month now.&nbsp\\; Am just starting to make some changes to it now.&nbsp\\; One of the first things that needs to go are the warning lables on the air cleaner and bag gaurds.&nbsp\\; Do most guys remove these?&nbsp\\; If so how do you get them off without damaging anything?&nbsp\\; Thanks for the help.

the air cleaner label will just peel off....use some spray bike polish to remove any residue.

Yes, most guys remove them.&nbsp\\; Try your ole ladies hair drier on high, and then a little mineral spirits.&nbsp\\; Make sure you wax good after.&nbsp\\; Good Luck, CCRyder

Hair dryer always works good.....so does parking in direct sunlight.
Goof Off on a rag will remove the glue residue.....then follow with
a good cleaner / polish / wax.

Ahhhhhh, just hate them stickers

I soaked mine with Goof Off and then used a plastic Bondo knife I picked up at an auto parts store to scrape the labels off. Got off the sticker with most of the residue. Then used to Goof Off on a rag to remove the remaining residue. After a coat of wax you couldn't tell the stickers were ever there. Did the same thing with the reflectors.

The stickers haven't bothered me enough to mess with them, yet.&nbsp\\;
I have heard they can be a pain&nbsp\\;to get off.

Goo-Gone is great stuff to get rid of the glue residue.

I found the air cleaner sticker was an easy peel and an easy clean. The damned labels on the bag guards are another story though. Had to pick them off one minute piece at a time. Final clean was easy though.
