im curious where you put the straps on a bike , specifically a streetglide when trailering. i never trailered any of my bikes before but since i have a 5 x 8 utility trailer this might make it easier when i drop it off for service than looking for a ride home or spending 30 bucks on a cab. i tried search but i keep getting errors.
Hook a set on the rear roll bars and the \\;front bars \\;and make sure you bring the bike down to the bottem of the shocks so it wont bounce on your trialer , lock and chock front tire
What!! None of you "real bikers" are going to give this guy a raft of crap about trailering his scoot? What's this forum coming too? Go with the tips listed above and you'll be good to go. I had to sell my trailer, but I'll have another one soon.
When I moved from Phoenix to Portland I used a 5'x9' ramp trainer and hooked the ratchet straps to the engine guard and saddlebag guards. Bottomed out the suspension and the King didn't move at all during the trip.
