Default Clock for Road King

Following is from a post I had in the general "CHAT" ....

Anyone have a good experience with Blondies Clock (they sell a clock for your Road King that mounts above the fork lock)?

I ordered one Jan 13 .... I think they were out of stock ... but they have now charged my credit card (as of Feb 14) and still no clock ... they don't return responses to my email or to my phone messages ...

I'm trying to be patient ....

Update: I just emailed Blondies AGAIN yesterday ... and again no response ... they are running in silent mode ... One more time, Blondies has HORRIBLE customer service ...

I think it's time to pull the plug on these bozos ...

P.S. All is not lost, I do have a neat Star Wars watch that my wife got me from Burger King.

I was going to order a clock from Blondies...However,after hearing your situation I think I will explore other suppliers.[sm=forgetit.gif]

I got the Harley clock that mounts to either control handle. I like it. It matches the speedo, I got the thermometer for the other side.

I bought my clock and thermometer direct from Formotion and mounted mine on my windshield.
I believe Formotion actually makes them for HD but I bought mine not more than a month before HD started selling them.

GOOD PRODUCT!

there have been times when I wish I knew what time it was while out for a putt. I kile the idea of the Blondies that covers the fork lock, but the BS customer service will have me at the HD counter/ Formotion doing business

I also went the Formotion route. I mounted the clock and matching temperature gauge on the windscreen bolts. It's perfect for me, since they're just below the line of sight. Only problem is the clock reminds I've been out to long....!

I have to agree -- Formotion makes very good products.

I mounted mine on the handlebar switch clamps (standard placement). The clock battery finally died after about 4 years. Replaced it and am ready for 4 more years. The clock is indispensible on long trips. The temp. gauge is mainly for symmetry on my bike.

Guys, I bought mine from www.marlinclocks.com last summer. The clock swivel mounts over the fork lock. It has been keeping accurate time since. The clock arrived as promised in a few days and I would reccommend this company to all my riding buddies.

Hey Scttgr8, what do you think of your lever covers? Do you get many people asking about them? Do they fly around alot while you are driving?

Sweet bike by the way.
