thanks I like it and the covers. yes they do flap a little but not very annoying. I dont always wear gloves and they rarely flap back onto my hands or arms. This set is a rather inexpensive set of of ebay, almost as much for shipping as for the covers. I am thinking like less than $10 with shipping.

I got the Harley clock that mounts to either control handle. I like it. It matches the speedo, I got the thermometer for the other side.

Is the thermometer accurate? I seem to remember that the OAT version that goes on the dressers had problems with calibration, and needed a mod to be remotely close.

rvisdew...your not alone. I also ordered about the same time that you did and the cash was also taken from the credit card on the same day as yours. Heck i ordered gear driven cams and the 103 ci kit, had it installed, did the breakin on the motor plus and additional 1500 miles and am scheduled for dyno tuning on tuesday of next week. I would have thought the clock would have been here way sooner than everything else. What do you think? Better Business Bureau, bad posts on all the biker forums, a nasty letter to American Iron Magazine and any other publications they advertise in, or wait a bit longer. Heck the 103 gets me places quicker so i am saving time........just a thought.

ekimrk (Mike):

I contacted MasterCard to get my money back from Blondies ... MasterCard will attempt to contact them to see if they don't have my signature on a receipt of some sort (good luck getting a hold of them!) ... I should get the charge on my card reversed this week.

I'm hoping that enough folks will read this post and be wary ... it may be a decent product (?), it's just that they don't have a clue on any sort of customer service ...

I think the thermometers that are mounted near the grips are fairly accurate. The one I have mounted on the windscreen bolt is accurate when not in the sun. When moving, the airflow is blocked, so it tends to read higher than ambient. Still makes a nice balance to the clock, though.

Yesterday I went to the HD dealership and bought a HD clock to mount on my clutch lever. It's part number: 75042-03. It was pretty funny when I was up at the counter a gray haired old old man walked up and was buying a leather jacket for $435.00 I said hey that sure is a nice jacket and he said yeah sometimes you have to treat yourself. I said yeah I bet you worked hard your whole life and you deserve it. The parts guy was handing me the clock and the 'ol man said "Why the hell are you buying a clock to put on you Harley?!?!" I said well right now I'm still a working man.....but I guarentee you when I retire the clock will go in the trash. The 'ol man just laughed and walked away.

I installed a Marlin's Fork Lock clock on my RK yesterday. Took about 15 minutes to set the clock and install the mount. Piece of cake. Had to grind down my key so it would clear when unlocking/locking the forks. Not a problem with my trusty Dremel. Now I won't have a white stripe on my wrist from wearing a watch.

I wear a watch.

Most of the time I am riding I don't want to know the time.

I figure I'll get there when I get there and not a moment before.

I got a clock off ebay that covers the fork lock and it was very nice. Just have to grind the corner of your key off.
