07's are stationary,08's are adjustable so You can regulate the air flow!

Is there any way to permanently install the 4th nut so you can install and take off the wings without removing the outer fairing

I put on a set of baker built, they work well in winter and summer, on a 06 ultra they mount to the tube above where your hi-way pegs go

I have the freedom wings and have no fit problems. You have the adjust them a little to get them to fit tight. I also took my lowers off, and between that increased air flow and the wings, my wife is a lot happier camper now and the heat is no problem ..

Adjustable Air Deflector Kit

Those are the ones I have on my 07 and they only have 3 holes (AND they're adjustable).

THIS kit for the 2008 may have 4 holes (can't really see them since they're mounted) and appear to be non-adjustable.

Maybe get the ones designed for your year? Yeh, that'd probably work best.
