The new vents not only block a lot of air to stay warm, but when the engine is gettin warm and workin hard climbing a long mountian pass, you can turn the vents to blow the air on the heads.

I just put an 08 inner fairing on my 07 - problem solved. (actually I bought an&nbsp\\;08 inner fairing by mistake to have painted and put on my bike to minimize downtime, realized my mistake when I saw a hole was missing on the right side for the brake and switch cables and had to cut one with a Dremel tool), but the new style HD fairing wings work - LOL.

I drilled the 4th hole and put a nut on the backside.&nbsp\\; Just that easy.&nbsp\\; I really am impressed, big improvement over the stock non-adjustable ones I had.&nbsp\\; And they look WAY better.&nbsp\\; Especially when you have&nbsp\\;a dark shield.&nbsp\\;

Yes, but I never took the stock ones off anyway.&nbsp\\; Can't imagine why I'd want to pull these off.
