Default Fairing wings

I recently installed some of those adjustable HD fairing wings on my EC and they vibrate. Does anyone have any solutions or are they junk?

Mine don't vibrate at all. I installed the '08 style on my '07 and had to drill a hole for the top screw, solid as a rock.

I also installed them on my '07 Ultra that they aren't supposed to fit. They may vibrate as much as the whole bike vibrates but no more. I'm a big fan.

I haven't had any issues with them vibrating. However, I have had 2 of them crack at the upper pivot. I used a little Gorilla Glue to glue the pivot back together and then a little bit of black fingernail polish to hide the glue.

Have you had any problem with fairing brackets? Was wondering if there is a connection between vibration/fairing bracket problems/HD adjustable air deflector problems.

Within the first few months my original wings cracked at the upper pivot point (both of them) when one broke loose I checked the other, it was cracked.
Replaced them and haven't had a problem since. I haven't had fairing bracket issues either. (Its an '08 with the stock wings).

I was not impressed by the vented ones....
I put the "older" solid ones on my '10 SG.
Only mounts to the three lower holes (leave the plug in the top one) and uses thoses big thumbsrews.
When it gets that HOT out, everything comes off by hand and gets tossed in the saddlebag.

Mine came with the bike, but I have never had vibration, and yes, they do help in directing the air.

Default saviorframe HD3726 repair kit

Check if your fairing main frame is broken that will make your wing vibrate a lot this the link a great way to repair at a fraction of the cost to replace with the OEM part that will brake again any this repair kit will be a permanent fix. I did mine long time and no problem. this their web site www.savior250psi.ca
