SG also has a 180 x 18" on the rear (FBI hub & spacer kit), BADDAD rear fender & stretched bags. On average I log 5,000 miles on the SG (two up, with gear). I log an equal amount of miles on my '02 Deuce (not 2 up). I have ridden both bikes to & along the Blueridge Mtn Parkway. I live in Nova Scotia, so I do have saddle time. Good luck with you project, you won't regret it. BTW should you consider a 26" it is a huge undertaking and in MPO should only be done on the newer style frame ('09 & newer).

Hey Pistonbroke2,
I was reading that you ride a 23 inch front wheel on your Street glide. I have bee wanting to do the same on my Road glide but, I ride long hard days when I road trip. I am looking for an honest answer. How much more to the bumps impact the ride? How many miles have you rode in a day and how did you feel? I average 600 miles per day had a couple of ironbutts under my belt as well. Would you recommend for long hauls?

Thank you,
Z

Hello all

I know this is an old post but I'm looking for suggestions. I have 2014 SG. I'm putting a 23 inch on (no rake). I have lowering springs and fork stops. I've seen mixed reviewed on whether to lower it 1 or 2 inches. What has been everyone's expereince?
