I haven't been here for a while but I wanted to share what I'm doing with my 05 road king. I looked into upgrading to a 103 and my mechanic said he could build a 95 that would spank any 103 around. The bike is torn down and should be ready to ride by Wed. I'm pretty excited about it, I don't usually ride much over the speed limit but it's nice to know I can or at least get to the speed limit quickly.
I am also putting on a Rhinehart true dual system and replacing my stock headers with ThunderHeader slipons. If anyone is interested in the slipons I'm up for selling them. They only have about 2000 miles on them and are in excellent shape, they are loud though. Feel free to send me an email if you want more information or pictures.
Man, I wouldn't be able to sleep until I took the first ride on the new engine. Let us know what you think about the power and if there is really a big difference.
