2005 Electra Glide
Hi Guys,
I am the New Guy ,I have just purchased my first Harley Davidson.I have had various bikes for many years and during the last 10 years have had Goldwings.I live in England but i visit the USA at least 5 times a year and have a home in Atlanta ,GA.
I have been going to Bikeweek in Daytona for about 8 years and also Biketoberfest as well,I am 58 years old.
Now to the point I have read in a couple of american bike magazines that the 2005 Screemin Eagle Electra Glide has a problem at a steady speed if you are taking a curve, the bike starts to squirm, and then starts to shake.Has any one else here had this problem?
My bike will be ready for my collection at the end of the month and I could use the information to maybe alter the ride at the rear. The Screemin Eagle comes with lower than normal suspention, would this affect the ride?
As I say any info please
Many thanks
JJ

I think this might be what you are looking for, I have heard of some people having problems, I have not yet on the RK. My friend has these on all three of his Harleys and swears by them.
Here is the web-site for Ride-STr8 stabilizer bracket kit. There is another one called Tru-trac, but it takes up more ground clearance than the STr8.
