I have a 2001 FLHPI and the previous owner removed the auxiliary lights and directional lights from the front. I have not been successful finding any on e-bay or for sale on this forum. I went to the stealer and they told me that the 69289-05 will fit and then I can add the directional lights. My book lists these lights as fitting a Road King 04 and later. The stealer tells me they will fit, but I am not very comfortable with what he has told me. Is the electrical connection different? Will it work? If not, any suggestions. I know that I am not legal in Oklahoma with no directional lights on the front, and I do like the auxiliary lights. I do have the removable windshield, which I plan on leaving on the bike.

The passing lamp bracket is part no. 68712-94A \\; for both RK and EG police models in my '04 Police model parts book. \\;
 \\;
Stop by your dealer and take a look at the book for your model year. \\; Then compare the part numbers to the civilian bike of the same year. \\; 99% likely that the only differences will be the color of the bulbs (red/blue for the police models). \\; The turn signals etc. will be the same.
 \\;
Also, ask on here, your local HD stores, etc. for customers/members who have installed the custom auxiliary lighting bracket kit, HD part no. 69818-06. \\; It's the SE light bracket that eliminates the towel bar and uses bullet turn signals. \\; Chances are anyone installing this kit on an EG has what you are looking for since they removed the towel bar rack to install the kit.

Good luck.
