Go buy the Mr. Clean car wash sytem.&nbsp\\; It works great, then blow dry the bike.&nbsp\\; Now it's time to polish. I washed and dried the bike on Saturday, with just a few touch ups and it took about an hour.&nbsp\\; Took more time to strip the bags, seat, windshiled, tourpak, etc.

Just do not direct high-pressure spray toward any seals, bearings, or gaskets. I ruined an o-ring drive chain once just passing the water stream over the back of the sprocket.

Hand wash and rinse a section at a time, and then dry that section.&nbsp\\; If you wash your bike a lot, get a bike dryer.&nbsp\\; Well worth the dollars and no comparison to a leaf blower.&nbsp\\; Again, depends upon how clean you want your bike to be.&nbsp\\; I ride 18k/year, and it is virtually always clean.&nbsp\\; My problem, I guess.&nbsp\\; I would never take the bike to a car wash\\; you can get water "power washed" into your electrical components.&nbsp\\;

Unless I've been riding in the rain, I never wash mine. I wipe it down with damp micro-fiber cloths. Works great.

Ever wash a car????
&nbsp\\;
It's pretty much the same.
&nbsp\\;
Everyone will have their own opinion. Do what works best for you. Just remember, they are waterproof. They were made to ride in the rain so it won't hurt it to get it wet.
