Default saving a post

How can you highlite and save a post? I'm sick of writing a reply or post and then go to upload it's gone. Everyday i write replys and the site wont upload. Instead of complaining i just need to save my work and try again another time.

I thought of the same thing,but decided against it, simply because I&nbsp\\;am computer challenged.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

When you get the posting error click on the back button of your browser, then highlight what you typed, right click and click on copy.

Write your post in Notepad originally, then copy and paste into the forum.&nbsp\\; If it doesn't work you can paste again until it does.
just my 2 cents

you can write your post in the window, but before you send it
mouse on first letter, hold down left button and drag it to the last letter.. that will highlight everything.
hold down the Ctrl key (lower left on keyboard) and press the C key (for copy)
&nbsp\\;that will temprorarily store your post in the computer's memory.
the send the post.
&nbsp\\;if it doesn't take, you can reopen the reply window,
hold down the Ctrl key again, and press the V key - that will paste what's in memory&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;
once it's posted, you can go back in and edit the contents... even add more info if you want.. it usually accepts it then - this part of my message was added after the original post.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
I've also found that if I send a one word post, it's usually accepted.\\; Then I open and edit that one word post and add in the rest of what I want to say.. without the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s

At the end of whatever you write, click 3 times quickly and it should highlite the whole message. Copy-c, copy-v.

Or you can highlight your write-up, right click, copy ( Or Control C) &nbsp\\;and then try to post.&nbsp\\; If it fails then you still have your write up saved on the clip board. Start again by right click and paste (or Control V).

I do not use Windows. Even if you offered to pay me. On my system, highlighting text places it in the clipboard. Later, clicking the middle mouse button pastes it.

Anyway, instead of dragging the mouse over all your text, you should be able to click once in the input box and hit CTRL+A to highlight it all, then hit CTRL+C to copy it to the clipboard. Later on, hitting CTRL+V should paste it into whatever input area you currently have focus on.

What I do when replying to a message is either middle-click the Reply or Quote link, which opens the reply page in a new tab. If you are not careful to avoid all apostrophes, double-quotes, both open and close parentheses, and maybe double spaces, you might have to resubmit it again. I am careful about those characters and never have to resubmit...
