I'm riding to Milwaukee from Sth. Florida on the 25th.
I've been trying to get a adjustable rider backrest for the long trip on my '08 EGlide, I've been told there is no part number that'll fit the '08s and that the "new" ones won't be released until September!

Is anyone using a adjustable rider backrest on a Touring '08?
I need a part number. Zanotti says gotta wait 'till September, local dealer says actual models will fit but they don't have any in stock.

I have one. Dealer-installed before I picked it up. I don't know the part number but call the Bellevue, WA dealership and they can tell you. Nice people. Eastside Harley, it is called.

got it from winchester harley.&nbsp\\; may be older one but works fine on my 08 mounts right up.

Just got off the fone with Chicago Harley ...all the adjustable backrest part numbers on the '08 cat and earlier cats&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;have been "obsoleted" by the MOCO, the new version is not available until 9/08. So, earlier&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; models will fit but are not orderable from HD, need to find a dealer with one in stock and so far no S. Florida dealer have any in stock ....mmmm
