Default cheap windshield

Has anyone used the windshields off e-bay? I'm planning a run down to Fla. in a few weeks and kinda strapped for cash to make it so dont want to spend alot on new windshield. The short one on my street glide wants to tear off my helmet and glasses. I'm thinking about the 8''.Thanks ...Mark

used it -- cracked as i was installing it. Got another one shipped at no cost -- and that worked great, until the time i had a mechanic work on the bike, where it cracked when he reinstalled it. Not happy -- they suck. save your money.

+1 for FastAire. I have almost 2 years and 20,000 miles on my 10-inch FastAire.

No issues at all with my eBay windshield. Works and looks just as I wanted, no cracking issues at all.

Bought mine off ebay from Road6customs, it's been on and off 4 times and no issues what so ever...I think I paid $32 shipped and would buy another from them in a second.

I'd also go with Fastaire. He ships fast too. You can keep it then for other trips. Just checked and he's selling 8" for about $40 shipped. I got mine in Fla in just three days.
