First Impressions
The weather here in New England has sucked for weeks now with rain and threats of rain each day and this day was no different. What riding we've done ( my wife also in-spite of the weather) over the past couple of days has been rain and threat of rain.
All I can say after a couple of limited days in the saddle is WOW!. What a different ride from my '03 Heritage (which I loved dearly). I'm still trying to figure out how every thing works. Way more stuff on this bike than any other I've ever owned. Cruise control in the old days was a rubber friction band on the throttle which would hold long enough for you to shake out your hand before you had to readjust it.
In the end I don't know why I waited so long to move to a bagger. This thing just floats over the bumps. I'm in love all over again.
The rain can't wash the smiles off our faces, though it has tried hard to do so. I still haven't seen it in the sunlite, maybe Sunday the weather guys say.

Yup, rain suits have had a work out lately. we were up north for the New England HOG rally and got plenty wet there also. This rain is getting old though.

New England sure has left a lot to be desired in the past
few weeks. On the other hand, it could have been worse
for a longer period of time.
Enjoy your new scoot
