Also moving the controls helped eliminate the crappy wrist position.
Do you mean just rotate them up? And crappy wrist position? My darn wrist hurt after riding a few days. I'll try it. Anything's worth the shot now . Be home in a week so I hope the weather holds up .

I rotated mine forward and adjusted the throttle and clutch side so that the reservoirs are parallel to the ground. Puts the brake and clutch levers in a good position and the numbness is gone. I'll upgrade the bars at a later date, but this solved a "comfort" issue for me completely. Pic showing bar position below. I have adjusted the brake and clutch sides since the photo. This was taken on a test ride to see if I liked the position with the factory bars moved forward.

these are my bars 18" with a cut down seat. im 5'10" and my hands are above eye level, at first I thought that I went too tall, but after a bit of riding i'm happy that I went this tall, its comfortable and I like the way the bike looks with them.

It was still in the shop getting detailed after they installed the SE hydraulic cam chest, new cams, LA Chopper Prime apes (10") and a fork service. These are a little wider, taller and less pull back than stock. The few short rides I got before the snow flew were pretty promising.
