Anyone have a RK Custom with Apes? did you rtake off the Duck Bill? what did it look like? better than than the beach bars?

If you have a picture I would appreciate it.

if you google road king with apes you'll find approximately a kajillion pictures, and there's a few with the custom and the duck bill. Not a fan of that thing myself, but that's purely personal preference... never liked them damn headlight visors on sportys either. heh

if you remove the duckbill, you have to replace the entire riser cover. then it just looks like any other road king. since the custom was an 04-07 release, if you do decide to remove the bill, make sure that you don't buy the newer riser cover, it will not fit.

oh, you'll also have to replace that trim spear that goes on the top of the headlight nacelle.

that was one of the best mods i did to my custom. i hated that chrome flyscreen. didn't do much but direct wind right into your face.....

They are custom Headlight buckets that have been custom fit some alpine 6" Coax speakers.

I got them from a custom CHopper shop called D & D Cycles
