16" apes?

16" apes?

looking for 16 apes for a streetglide to put on road king. got a fairing on my bike and want the contour of the bars to go with fairing and looking for some 16"s

I think Wild 1 Bagger apes only go to 14" but Carlini makes one called Electrified Apes, or something like that. It is listed by them as 15" but is actually 16" according to the diagram on the Carlini website.

just finally found cycle smith makes 16's for dressers. now just the debate wether to stay with my straight chubbys that are pulled back a bit or make the switch to the cyclesmith which looks like it would come out a bit then rise straight up. just wander howd it look when the fairings off.

first one is a king with the bars im looking at and the second two are mine with and without fairing. decsions decsions

Yaffe has 16's for the fairings.

I must admit, the bagger bars on a king don't look nearly as bad as I thought they would.

give these guys a look. I don't work for them but I have seen thier stuff and it is IMHO, the best of the best and a lot cheaper than the rest.

Not possitive, but last I checked, LA Choppers made an ape that would work with a fairing. I have 18" on my rk custom, and I love them...Then again, I forget who makes the ganster bars, but it would seem that the gentle curve of those would work with a fairing, and they look great without a fairing, IMO. Besides, isn't a big deal to pull the bars back slightly when the fairing is on, and push them forward when the fairing is off. That's what I do with my bars, and it seems to hold fine for me...
