Default Wiring Extensions for 13" Apes

I'm getting ready to install 13" Cyclesmith apes on my 2012 Streetglide. I've had some tell me that I would NOT need to extend the TBW and handlebar control wiring and some said I would. Anyone else installed 13" bars? Thanks,

I have 14" PYOA bars. They are way taller than the cycle smith bars. Didn't extend my TBW, but extended everything else.

I did WO 577's 12.5 inch and the wires are just long enough with relocating the fairing end connectors. In hindsight I would extend the wiring.

14" br customs... i did not extend wires, but i did buy cvo throttle sensor. I tried with stock sensor and it was a waste of time. Your connectors will be in a different position but plenty long enough. Good luck it was still a pain in the ***.

Hey post pictures. Do you have a guide for the install? I'm looking at the cycle smith 0601-0763 apes and considering doing it myself.

Thanks!

13 smiths here. No extensions, but did run the wires under the stereo. I did get a longer brake and clutch

Same here 13" Cyclesmith bars, no extensions, longer brake line and clutch cable.

I had 13" CS on my 05 glide, didn't extend the wires, rerouted them under radio as mentioned above. Used +6 on brake and clutch.
