Default Namz wire for apes.

I know some of you guys have used the Namz wire extentions when installing your apes. My question is how long should I get for 14" Vindikta bars? The bike is a 2014 sgs.

Thanks
Rodney.

I ordered the 8 inch extension for mine, same bars, 14 inch Vindiktas. That's what everyone said order. Matter of fact, I literally just took them out of the box 20 minutes ago! The bars.

it is simple to cut wires and extend. My wire extentions cost me less that 5 bucks and worked perfectly and i dont have to worry about and extra connection that can come appart. I installed 14 in KST bars on my 2014 SGS and used 10in extensions so I could route them to the spot where they are from the factory

I agree. I installed 13" Prime Apes a few weeks ago and purchased the HD 12" extensions. For the clutch side everything went through easily, but on the throttle side, the stock switch wires were just short of being able to exit the bars. This meant that I had to run the entire extension internally. I used the SE TBW so there were no connectors on it. I could not for the life of me get the switch wires with the extensions through with the TBW wires. After an hour or so of frustration I went out and got wires and soldered my own extensions. Wish I would have saved my money and not bought the plug n play wire extensions. If I ever do a bar swap again I will just go straight to soldering them myself. It may take a few extra minutes to splice/solder, but for the time and frustration of trying to push/pull the connectors through, it would have actually saved me time skipping straight to splicing/soldering.
